Brit Floyd Immersion World Tour 2017
CMP Productions required a new concept and design to incorporate new fixtures and new set list into their 2017 world tour of Brit Floyd, a leading Pink Floyd Tribute Show.

The brief required a number of concept renders in WYSIWYG to try different iterations of truss structure, lighting positions and sight lines to ensure that we had the ability to put on an impressive show in large arenas as well as the flexibility to play small theatres. The design needed to capture the trademark Pink Floyd look while utilising modern lighting fixtures to give the necessary sense of scale.

The rig consisted of over 100 moving lights, 3 laser units and a Green Hippo V3 media server controlled by a GrandMA2 lighting console. The majority of the set was programmed to MIDI timecode with timeline programming on the Hippo V3 Media Server, allowing a large proportion of the show to be programmed in advance using WYSIWYG pre-visualisation.

This tour will play around 150 venues per year in Europe, UK and USA including the Royal Albert Hall in London, Radio City in New York and Red Rocks Colorado.
